Time to Focus


Apologies for the lame blog, but just drained and burned out of late. I'm sure we'll whip up chaotic and frightful blathers in the future, but for now just trying to fight against an empty tank.

Gonna force a bit of dev later. We're so used to having a burning fire in us that we can't hold ourselves to the usual standards. So bite sized chunks of dev for the near future.

Tonight I want to just focus on polishing combat and make sure it feels proper when fighting some mundane melee enemies. I don't know exactly what that entails other than tweaking everything and everything from force values to cooldown times and movement speeds and enemy health and on and on, but we're gonna get to fixing it up bit by bit starting tonight.

Hoping once we're feeling more confident in our core systems we'll be rarin' to get to content creation.

And more likely than not, this is just burnout and we need to give it time, but for now want to at least get a little bit of work done.

Actually kinda nice to just be tired and docile for a bit. We're human after all.
