Sometimes the best thing you can do for your project, is take a damned nap
TELL ME WHY!?
Probably going to be my lowest effort blog post ever. But part of this is conditioning myself to stop making pretentious blog posts. We're gonna focus on making a good game gosh damn it. (Oh don't worry, I'm sure we'll break down and shoot our mouth off in the very near future)
I'm hoping that once I start getting fish in the game and get them dropping the random loot the game will be more exciting to work on.
Not being able to drink coffee for health reasons is REALLY kickin' my ass of late. So hoping we can get a nap in here in just a moment.
This has to be the least exciting project ever right now XD
No crazy rants! No development going on. Just whining about burnout!
WTF ARE WE DOING WITH OUR LIVES!?
Should be devin'. Ok, from now on I'm not going to be postin' blog posts unless we have something to say, and it's taking all my energy to prevent myself from putting my foot in my mouth with all the stupid petulant bullshit going on right now in the world. But maybe it's time we start doing what other competent developers do and just stfu.
The world is healing, let's learn to put what little energy we have these days into development and not twitter.
To be fair, we're burned out as fuck, as I have whined about forever. It's really hard to keep going when you'd rather be watching paint dry. Even if the game is kicking ass. I'm excited as ever to see this start to come online, I'm just tired of tuning these push values for the 5000x time.
