The Proclamation Domestication
We're so coddled these days! All anyone cares about is upvotes and view counts.
For so many years we've been conditioned that only content that's on the front page is any good. Only videos with a billion views are worth watching.
It can't be understated what a profoundly negative affect this has had on our SOULS.
We've lost our agency, we've lost our fighting spirit, we've lost that will to do great things or be different.
We live in this world of safe, quiet sameness. Of sucking off big corporations and hoping to be their little pet darlings that they can prop up and be that safe popular content.
This soft parade bullshit is going to be the end of us.
It's unfortunate how soft and rounded everything is these days. The great firebrands that would rise up and shake up the industry, the scene, they're all gone, all canceled, all sorted from the safe and easily manipulated faces of media and empire nowadays.
We've fallen so far from the great ambitions and progress of yesterday. In wanting to keep things safe and in wanting to enrich ourselves with easily controllable teachers pets, all forward progress has been reversed.
It's a damn shame to see kids these days grow up in such a terribly controlled and safe environment.
We live in the bubble boy generation. Over protected by our nanny states of big tech, big business, and big government. In the absence of family we've supplanted it with the coddled masses around us. Day after day we grow weaker, lose whatever agency we may have ever had.
That ability to create a critical mass of support, of finding an audience, of turning the right heads is over. We're all just sheep now being led to slaughter.
