3 point plan
Sometimes it makes sense to just trudge forward. You know a billion and one things need adjusting, nothing is really pertinent, you have a ton of energy, so might as well open the project and just friggin' get to it.
But I'm feeling really worn down right now and sometimes it's nice to have that milestone in mind to have something to work towards and you can feel your efforts leading to a tangible goal, so i figured before we do a pitiful amount of work (not feeling great today), let's at least outline our plan and have something feasible to work towards so it doesn't feel like we're just going to work forever.
Step 1: Clean up level design and get a better playable area right out of the gate, QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!
Step 2: Polish up just a couple enemy types, the baby shark and the ranged Nosey fish, we will polish and adjust systems until just these 2 fish feel really polished and are fun to fight.
Step 3: Add the first round of upgrades
In the future: Ramp up difficulty in new areas and make these upgrades meaningful and essential to move forward.
Seems pretty doable! Ok, just typing this out I'm feeling not as good so I think we're actually just going to take a mulligan today, hoping to feel better soon and get to it.
