Let's do a little planning
I had an epiphany this weekend. I'm not going to spend untold days spilling into weeks and months implementing my grand plan. Finally get the game together and find out it's crap.
I'm going to open Unity tomorrow (barring issues) turn off debug mode, and start playing the game.
Deep breath
It's going to suck in a multitude of ways and that's fine. It's time we face those things head on and start making the game fun! Like actually fun!
No more deving in circles, skirting the actual playing of the game, developing everything independently thinking of the great cohesive whole that will never materialize.
We put ourselves out there, and we make that stinkin' game!
I'm not sure what sort of devtools I'll need to set up. I'm not sure what sort of upgrades and shop items and a myriad of other design setups and code will be required to start making developing the actual game feasible.
But we gotta start somewhere!
Tomorrow we start making the actual game. We start playing the actual game. And we attempt to make the game loop not suck.
