Strange magic
I wake up, and i have energy, I'm feeling pretty good about the project, and when I think about working on it I get pumped up to kick as ass like the old days!
WTF IS GOING ON!?
It's not supposed to be like this! We're supposed to be battered and bruised and broken and the world sucks, and we've been working on this game forever, we haven't had any success, and the slog never, ever ends.
And yet here we are... all these years gone. But the game is getting there!
I got absolutely SH*T sleep, I shouldn't be ready to get to work, but that's what we're gonna do M*THER FUCKERS.
I like how the upgrade system is coming along, and removing them from items and simplifying the UI visuals across the board is really making everything come together and sing. It's crazy how much compounding elements of your game can elude you for so long from the new player perspective.
LOTS of consolidations and simplifications and tutorials going on right now, as well as GREATLY pacing out the game while polishing up every aspect of the game day after day.
Anyhow. Gotta save some energy for dev!
Time ta' get to it! The world sucks d*g D*(&, but chaos is a ladder. Who knows where SeaCrit ends up months from now. For the first time in a long time, I'M LIKIN' OUR ODDS!
