Brain's pretty fried so just going to link the dev session:
Didn't get as much of the world built out as I wanted to, but got a lot of necessary project cleanup done so that this sort of content can be made in the future. I have a really hard time spending time to learn how to do things the proper way, I'm always wanting to just create things perfectly from the get go so the game can be finished in a day, and I know that's fucking dumb, but that's just how it is. Tricked myself into feeling this stuff out and setting up various level things. Next time will go smoother and there will be more progress.I need polish spawning (fish are spawning in areas where they shouldn't and it's a pain to get them not to)
Near future: New death system where you will no longer lose items. New checkpoint system so when you die you don't go all the way back to town.
Thank god for good fucking music. Dulls the devpains enough to make forward progress:
