I repeat myself
I still can't get over how much crap there is to do to finally reach the point where I'm tuning the damned values of upgrades and items that I got into the game over a month ago.
Sometimes I think about how nice it would be if I could just tell a team of coders and designers "improve this aspect of the pipeline, make adjusting things easier here and here, hide these things, expose this stuff, and lets do this so it's so much easier and nicer to make this game fun without accidently breaking thins."
But I don't have a team, SO DUCT TAPE IT IS! EAT SH*T BURNOUT, I"M GOING TO GET CRAP DONE TODAY.
THE PLAN! Get all the crap in and linked up and ready for rapid tuning and setups!
Get a unique space helmet in for melee (because why the F not?), and one unique weapon for every weapon type.
ONE LAST SESSION OF CLEANIN ALL THIS CRAP, GETTING THE DUCKS IN A ROW, GETTING A FEW UNIQUE ITEMS STARTED AND THEN IT'S TIME TO FINISH ALL THIS CRAP SEND THE GAME OFF FOR FEEDBACK!!
WE'RE GONNA BE HALFWAY THERE TO GETTING THE WORK OF ONE DAY DONE THAT I THOUGHT I'D BE DONE WITH A WEEK AGO!!!
Gamedev is fuckin' weird. Definitely livin' on a prayer right now. I'm not the biggest Bon Jovi fan, but f-ck it...
